Editorial standards
How Equanax produces the content on this site, and a correction to how some of it used to be labelled.
One byline, stated plainly
Every post on this site carries the byline Jack Crabtree. Some of that content is produced with AI assistance under Jack Crabtree's editorial direction: drafted with AI tools, checked and directed by him before it goes live. Nothing on this site is published under a name that does not correspond to a real person.
A correction
For a period, posts on this blog were published under bylines that did not correspond to real people. That was wrong, and it has been fixed: every post now carries the Jack Crabtree byline. The blog has also been through a wider clean-up in the process, and posts that no longer matched the site's current focus were taken off the site rather than relabelled. Going forward, nothing is published under an invented name.
What "AI-assisted, under Jack Crabtree's editorial direction" means
Content produced with AI assistance is directed and checked by Jack Crabtree before publication: no invented statistics, no invented client claims. The same evidence standard applies here as everywhere else on this site: a number appears only if it can be checked, and a claim about a client only appears if that client is named or clearly marked as anonymised and why.
Why this page exists
Equanax asks vendors to show their work before it trusts them. It's only fair to hold this site's own content to the same standard. Questions about a specific post: get in touch below.
